Easy landscaping borders edging can be created for a lawn by installing mowing strips.  There are two kinds of work; catch up work and getting ahead work.  When you're on your knees trimming grass you're catching up.  when you are putting in edgings and mowing strips you're getting ahead.

You can take the frazzled fringe off your lawn permanently with these structural devices that are used for borders edging.  You can do it inexpensively as well.  Some durable borders edging cost less than twenty cents a foot.

Landscaping borders edgings keep grass from creeping into flower beds, define and outline areas, and make it unneccessary to mow or trim close to walls and trees.

When grass adjoins a vertical surface like a wall, thee's a narrow strip of grass a mower can't cut.  Install a mowing strip to replace this band of sod.  The mowing strip provides a track for the mower wheel and prevents regrowth of grass at the wall.

When grass adjoins a horizontal surface, like a flower bed the mower will cut to the lawns edge but can also go into the flower bed.  Installing an edging strip keeps the edges clean.

Many materials can be used successfully for borders edging strips.  Crushed rock, vinyl plastic, paving stones and corrugated metal are all popular materials for landscaping borders edging.
